Guys Read Club

We are very excited to start our Guys Read Club.  This is unlike any book club ever done before.  We are inviting guest speakers from the community and school to speak about books that have influenced them and why reading is important for guys.  We meet once a month, after school in the library.

Our next meeting is October  - See you there!

Our speaker last February was Mr. Veal, and if you were here, you know how great he is!  It was a fabulous talk about what club members like to read, the importance of peer recommendations and reading books to stretch your comfort zone (such as award winning or Lone Star books).  Below is a collage of pictures from this meeting.
