Welcome Back Griffin Gators!

Welcome, welcome to the 11th annual Griffin school year! 

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Mrs. Leffel and I am the new librarian at Griffin Middle School.  I am so excited to be joining such a great group of teachers, staff, and students at Griffin Middle School!  Before becoming a librarian I was an elementary music teacher in Plano and Frisco ISD for eight years.  I have also been a Youth Services Librarian with the City of Plano.  I am married to my high school sweetheart and have two little girls who keep my busy.  I love to read, talk about books, and am always up for recommendations.  I mainly read Young Adult fiction and all types of genres from romance to adventure to science fiction and dystopia.  Seriously, recommend it to me and I'll look into reading it.   When I'm not reading, I like to watch movies (did you catch my Hunger Games tribute at the beginning?), craft, and listen to music.  I'm looking forward to a great year of reading and learning together!
